Class 1: Vintage Tractors and Ploughs
An open class for tractors and ploughs, without hydraulics, as manufactured pre-1960.

Class 2: Vintage Tractors and Ploughs
An open class for tractors, and hydraulic ploughs, as manufactured pre-1960.
Kindly sponsored by Messrs Harvey Farms.

Class 3: Classic Tractors and Ploughs
An open class for tractors and conventional ploughs, as manufactured 1st January 1961 till 31st December 1970.   Match Ploughs are not eligible for this class.

Class 4: Premier Mounted or Semi-mounted Ploughs
Open class for any ploughman.

Class 5: Intermediate Mounted or Semi-mounted Ploughs
Any ploughman who has not won first prize at any of our matches during the past five years.

Class 6: Premier Reversible Ploughs
Any ploughman wishing to plough to the national rules.

Class 6a: Commercial Reversible Ploughs
Any ploughman not wishing to plough to the national rules.

Class 7: Novice Ploughmen
As defined in Rule 8.

HORSE PLOUGHING. (Radius Unlimited)
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY.
There are no entry fees payable for any Horse Class.
Competitors are expected and requested to be ready to commence ploughing at 11am sharp.
Judging of the best turned out team, and In Hand Classes will take place prior to the Ploughing.
Assistance with horses will be allowed for the first few turns and with marking sticks. However points may be deducted at the judge's discretion.
The Association is willing to contribute towards the expenses of the competitors in Class 11. Please see rule for Ploughing rules related to minimum depth requirement.
Lunch will be provided to competitors.

The Match will be held at Hook House Farm in Isaacs Lane, Burgess Hill on 4th Oct 2008

Ploughing commences at 9am

There are lunches, food, licensed bar, trade stands, competitions and much more at the show.

2008: Silage and hayledge results are in. Winners are Dutton Partners, Harold Turner, Steve Franklyn and Andrew Elliott.
